The Programme

PROGRAMME SLIM is a 12 month, fully supported, holistic, weight loss and wellness programme for both men and women, focusing specifically on you and your needs when it comes to losing weight and keeping it off.  

 

Because everyone is different and has different needs, this is not a generic weight loss programme, it's personalised to each individual.  We take into consideration your way of life, your other commitments, your time, your challenges, your current and past eating habits and triggers, your self belief and set realistic and achievable weight loss goals.

 

It’s also an education, educating you about nutrition, the importance of water, exercise ~ in whatever capacity you are currently capable of and will be capable of once your level of fitness has increased, the mind/body connection, developing a positive self belief and claiming your health back.

 

Most importantly, it is not a diet, I don't believe in diets, we are all made differently so there is no 'one size fits all' diet. Diets are a short term fix that involve depriving yourself of certain foods.  When we feel deprived of something we over compensate elsewhere. When we diet weight tends to come off quite quickly over a relatively short space of time. Crash diets and other calorie-restricted diets can reduce your Basal Metabolic Rate (metabolism). With some diets, your body is forced to break down muscle to use for energy. The lower your muscle mass, the slower your metabolism. With less muscle and a slower metabolism, it then becomes a lot easier to put fat back on after coming off the diet.

Eat to Live   not   Live to Eat!

The first part of the programme is focused on identifying what has been sabotaging your success in losing weight and keeping it off in the past, releasing yourself from self defeating behaviours and limiting beliefs and developing a whole new relationship with food, and yourself, in order to achieve a new, healthier way of life.  Attention will be given to your emotions, how you are feeling and your thoughts and behaviours concerning your relationship with yourself, with food and with exercise. It is important to address these things to ensure that all the road blocks are removed from your weight loss journey and that the positive changes you will be putting into practice feel good and are easy to achieve, so they become second nature.

 

The second part of the programme is focused on celebrating your achievements and keeping the momentum going.  It's human nature to beat ourselves up about the things we haven't achieved and we forget about recognising and celebrating what we have achieved.  You will have significantly changed your eating habits and behaviours, have a more positive sense of yourself and would have lost a significant amount of weight already by this time.  So celebrating your achievements will keep you motivated to succeed.  It's important to recognise, talk about and celebrate your achievements; in doing so it helps you to maintain the new positive responses, behaviours, attitudes and beliefs that will ensure you achieve permanent weight loss and maintain your desired weight. 

This personalised, non-diet, holistic, weight loss & wellness programme enables you to achieve steady and therefore long term weight loss that is easy to sustain.

The Programme Content

Vision Session  :  Week 1

  • Discuss the questionnaire that you will be sent prior to commencing the programme.

  • Complete a diet and lifestyle analysis.

  • Discuss what your biggest hurdles and bug bears about losing weight are - so we can focus on you over coming them.

  • Talk about what you ultimately want to achieve and define your vision, so we can motivate you to achieve it.

  • A short hypnosis session to get you ready for making positive changes. 

  • You will be given a food and drink diary to complete and supporting information for your weight loss journey.

Collapsing Disempowering Limiting Beliefs  :  Week 2 

​

The beliefs we have about ourselves make up the fabric of who we are and strongly influence what our experiences will be.

​

Many of our deeply rooted (limiting) beliefs have been influenced by the words, actions or behaviours of others. We subconsciously own them as our own thoughts and beliefs, which end up becoming self-fulfilling prophecies that force us to live a life that is far removed from our true potential.

 

Our ‘Inner Critic’ is the negative part of us that sabotages our ongoing development. A hostile judgemental inner advisor, conjuring up negative thoughts and self-defeating beliefs about ourselves that oppose our best interests and can diminish our motivation and self-esteem. These belittling self-criticisms are born of subconscious self-sabotage which can have a huge impact on how we live, and how we succeed in all areas of our lives.

This session will enable you to identify your core self beliefs, determine which of those beliefs are your own authentic self beliefs or if you have inherited them from the words, actions or behaviours of others, silence your inner critic, collapse dis-empowering limiting beliefs, set realistic and achievable goals, and create a vision board.

​

When your thoughts, emotions, actions and beliefs are aligned and in coherence you are tuned in to your true potential. When you are tuned in to your true potential you can achieve great things that you may have never previously thought possible.

​​Disengaging your Triggers and Overcoming Cravings  -  Week 3 

​

The 'Triggers' exercise will help you recognise your behaviours and emotions that result from the triggers that cause you to snack or over eat, and identify positive alternative behaviours, which will then form part of the second hypnosis session.  You will learn the powerful EFT tapping technique to help you overcome any cravings, hurdles or challenges - physical, mental or emotional and keep you motivated to achieve your weight loss goal.

 

Hypnotherapy

 

 

There is a minimum of 4 hypnotherapy sessions in this programme.  Other hypnotherapy sessions can be included depending on your own personal need, but these four are usually all you will need.

  • Hypnotherapy Session 1:  Week 1

  • Hypnotherapy Session 2:  Week 4

  • Hypnotherapy Session 3:  Week 7

  • Hypnotherapy Session 4:  Week 12

​

These hypnosis sessions will reinforce the undoing of self-defeating behaviours and limiting beliefs, motivate you to make the right choices and take the correct action for positive healthy changes that will enable you to lose weight and keep it off.

1:1 Check In's: 

​

 

1:1 check in's from week 14 where we will catch up on your progress and use EFT to help you overcome any hurdles or challenges and keep you on track. 

​

​

Monthly Group Live Calls: 

​

Monthly live support calls - via Zoom with other members of the programme.  This is where you get to share tips and advice and ask any questions you may have between your 1:1 sessions and keep each other motivated.  Joining the live calls is optional.

​

​

6 Weekly Fun Times, Support & Motivation: 

​

I want this programme to be enjoyable for you in all aspects of your way of life, so numbers permitting there will also be arranged events every 6 weeks for fun, support and motivation.  You will also have an accountability buddy, someone who you can relate to during your journey to support, encourage and even inspire you further to achieve your weight loss goal.  Joining these events is optional but highly recommended.

Private Facebook Group: 

​

You will be invited to join the private Programme Slim Slimmers Club facebook group to share your successes, reach out in challenging times, have a giggle, have a moan, blow your trumpet and show off about what you have achieved and how it makes you feel (this can motivate and inspire others), and just feel fully supported by the group.

​

And I will be here for you to support you through the whole process because I want you to succeed.
